GP Studios is made up of three brothers: Tom, David and Richard Wilson.

In the summer of 2004, I (Tom) discovered a free-trial version of Macromedia Flash MX. Initially I made short cartoons involving guineapigs, thus GP Studios was born.

I played around with the software for years, working my way up slowly from making amateur cartoons, up to ones that could be posted on flash portal websites such as Newgrounds.com. Eventually I lost interest in making cartoons and moved onto developing games.

In 2007, I finished making my first Flash game, Bunny Invasion. It was released on Newgrounds and did relatively well. Months after its release I was informed by a friend that they had played the game, even though I hadn’t told any of my friends at school.

Without my realising, it had spread to loads of other flash game sites around the web.

In February 2009, Bunny Invasion 2 was released.

It was from this point that GP Studios essentially became a three person team. I (Tom) would be the artist and coder for the games, Richard would write the stories, and David would be the primary tester, and deal with the games release, distribution and other admin tasks.

Bunny Invasion 2 was a huge success, finding a supportive sponsor in Bubblebox.com and has been played over 7 million times since its release in late February, 2009. With its success we decided to make a seasonal sequel, Bunny Invasion: Easter Special.

Bunny Invasion: Easter Special also did very well, and since its release in April, it has had approximately 3.5 million game plays.

Since then we have been working on getting this website built and have started on multiple other projects. We have 2 projects currently on the sideline, and another currently in the works.

We have not yet decided which projects will be next, it could be one of the two currently on the side line or we may go on to develop Bunny Invasion 3 next.
