What was the last movie you saw?
In cinema or not.

Last film I saw was Being John Malkovich, very weird, but worth seeing.
Last movie I saw at the cinema was Inglorious Basterds, which probably ended up being my favourite film of last year.

Anyone seen Avatar?
Probably not going to see it in cinema, but is it good, or just ok surrounded by crazy amount of hype?
:(  :P :geek: :o :? :geek:  :( :( :P  :!:

Last movie I saw was Soylent Green. The ending is not the best part, but the interaction between the two main characters. And when you discover that the actor playing the old guy was dying of cancer, it makes the scene when he goes "home" all the more poignant.

2012 any good? I'm guessing no...

Just watched 'The Last King of Scotland' last night.

Good film, predictable but didn't hurt the film at all.
Definitely worth seeing.

Watched Funny People a couple days ago.
I've liked every other Apatow film I've seen but this one was only mediocre and overly long.
Not Adam Sandler's best performance either...

Not bad, but not great. :o

I watched "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" (or "Amélie" as it's better known) the other night.

I recommend it.
It were very very good.

Haven't seen it, but they've made a Prince of Persia film. Sounds bad...
One film I do want to see is the new one by Chris Morris about suicide bombers. It's apparently really good (and the Daily Mail will probably hate it  ).

7/7 families are trying to get it banned or something though, don't really get that...

I'm a big fat Chris Morris fan, and hopefully will see that film later next week.
To anyone reading this, I recommend you watch The Day Today or Brass Eye. The Brass Eye Paedophile Special in 2001 attracted the most complaints on a TV show in the UK. That's reason enough to watch it.
I also enjoy Jam. Perhaps the most surreal and scariest comedy show I've ever seen.

Can't wait to watch Four Lions...

I'd give it a 5/10.

Tom watched it and loved it, but hes a crazee fanboy.
He'd marry Chris Morris if he asked :P

Apparently if I enjoy a single person's work alot, I'm some sort of stalker fanboy. And besides, it's also written by Sam Bains and Jesse Armstrong, the Peep Show peeps. I'm also a big admirer of the Peep Show, but you don't seem to think I'm in love with them. Maybe because you enjoy it too? Knob end.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie, as did Rich.
I think Dave was expecting something alot more serious, being a comedy film and all...
It was silly, but that doesn't make it bad or ill thought out.

I went into the cinema knowing nothing about the film apart from the way it was described by the creators - "The Dad's Army side to terrorism".
That's exactly what it was.

Highly recommended! (Unless you have been seriously affected by a terrorist attack)

IMO.
In My Opinion.

I didn't say it was bad, I said that I thought it wasn't good.

Tom can't take jokes... not even with smiley faces.
He's a sad panda.
