It's working!!!

I thought the site would take a while to be created, but that was ridiculous...

GP Studios is now a games website as well as a games developer! We're featuring only the highest quality games here, so please look through our collection. There's not a single game here that hasn't been played and approved by us.

We'll be updating the site almost everyday with 2 new games, so you can be assured that GP Studios won't get boring anytime soon.

Right! It's time for some effing news!

For those who didn't follow the old GP Studios blog, I was creating a tower defence game.

Now, about 3 months ago (probably longer) I was doing no work on the game. Lack of motivation had stalled the development to a halt and I was no longer working on the tower defence game at all.

Being 19, taking no further education through university and being unemployed didn't mix well. Since discovering the flash game industry with my previous 2 games (Bunny Invasion 2 and Bunny Invasion: Easter Special) earlier this year, I felt as if this was my way out.

Now however, my interest seemed to be elsewhere. Where? I don't know exactly, but it wasn't in this game.

So it was time for a change! I ditched the tower defence (for now) and went onto to another idea.

This game idea at first was extremely half-baked. I had recently been playing an old game called Resident Evil (the first one) and another old game Wild Arms.

Resident Evil is a survival horror (perhaps the first) and it featured loads of these fun little puzzles, one of which was so hard I gave up.
I then went on to Wild Arms, an RPG. It uses a skewed top down view and you can walk about, talk to people, pick up items, and so on...

Now my idea was to put the two together. The result I thought was a fairly original idea (as flash games go).
So you control a character in an RPG world and you go around trying to solve some big mystery!

Well, the idea has developed a lot since.

The game is now set inside a boarding school and you play a teenage boy.

You can explore the whole of the premises: all the classrooms, the dormitory, the playground, sports hall; I could go on. Nowhere is off limits.

The story of the game is based around a murder mystery. Children are disappearing and being found dead. It is up to you to find the killer!

This game is pretty epic to think how much is going into this.

About 60 character models, 70 rooms, loads of missions, 50 cards to collect, many cut-scenes... and so much more. Literally too much to mention.

If I'm lucky I'll have the game finished in November, but that is a big if. It's not an ideal time but December is more realistic, however it's possible the game's release could be delayed further due to Christmas which would give me less exposure.

Anyway, here's a picture of one of the classrooms:

I hope that's wet some of your appetites for now.

If you're waiting for another Bunny Invasion, I imagine I'll start work on that as soon as this game's finished.

For now though, keep yourselves occupied with the excellent games we've got on show and look out for more news on the game.
I'll soon be posting pictures and possibly videos on it in the coming weeks, so make sure you check back.

If you've got any suggestions on how to make the site better, or if you've found a bug, or if you just want to get in contact, go to the Contact Us page, and I'll be in touch with a reply.

Goodbye for now! Please leave a comment and keep coming back!
